Why the North Coast Is Home
The North Coast has always held a special place in my heart.

As a child, I spent countless days in Fort Bragg with my grandparents and family, making memories that would shape my connection to this beautiful place for the rest of my life. My grandfather and I shared a truly special bond — and Fort Bragg was our favorite destination. When we lost him in a tragic accident when I was just 11 years old,
I found comfort here. Somehow, every time I return,
I still feel close to him. I always will.

Over the years, I’ve made new memories — this time with my sons — building sandcastles,
searching for seaside treasures and laughing barefoot in the sand.
I have photo boxes full of those moments, snapshots of childhood joy and love on the beach.

Fort Bragg is more than a destination.
It’s a feeling. It’s a legacy. It’s home.

And it’s one of the greatest honors of my life to help couples create their own lasting memories here —
surrounded by beauty, love, and meaning.

In 2013, my husband David asked me to marry him — and I shared a dream close to my heart: to be
married on the North Coast, next to the ocean. He agreed, and together we traveled to the coast in
search of the perfect wedding destination.

But what we found was disheartening. The venues were too large for our intimate guest list, and the offerings didn’t feel like us. After more searching, I came across glowing reviews for Agate Cove Inn. I instantly fell in love. We booked our stay and set our 2014 wedding date.

A local planner helped us coordinate, but we were offered a “Simple Package” — a small dinner for two and minimal personalization. While grateful, I couldn’t shake the feeling that something was missing. I envisioned a day full of thoughtful details and meaningful moments.

With my own background in event planning, I reached out directly to local vendors and lovingly pieced together a wedding day that reflected who we were as a couple. It was beautiful — not because it was extravagant, but because it was ours.

From that day forward, I made it my mission to help other couples experience the joy of a wedding that truly feels like them. Whether big or small, your celebration deserves care, creativity, and freedom from “one-size-fits-all” packages.

In 2020, we discovered the perfect space — a charming commercial building in the heart of Fort Bragg, just steps from the scenic Noyo Harbor. This historic gem, honored with the Mayor’s Award in 2003, is now lovingly known as “The Wedding House” — a welcoming, creative space dedicated to celebrating love on the Northern California coast.

In 2021, we proudly launched Noyo and Co. LLC, with Mendo Bride as our signature wedding brand. Our vision: to provide a full-service, elevated experience for couples seeking beauty, intention, and coastal charm.

With deep local roots and a passion for thoughtful design, we are honored to guide our couples through one of the most meaningful chapters of their lives — surrounded by beauty, love, and the unforgettable North Coast.

I love everything about the North Coast — the breathtaking landscapes, the ocean breeze, and the timeless beauty it brings to every wedding. I'm inspired by the elegant gowns, the magical photo moments, the artful flower arrangements, the exquisite cakes, and the sparkle of fine jewelry and pearls.

Romantic music, joyful celebration, and the feeling of love in the air — these are the moments I live for.

To be part of a couple’s journey and help create a memory that lasts a lifetime is not just a job —
it’s a true gift.
